Young Elders (organized July 20, 1978)
Mission Statement:
The betterment of the life situation of the membership.
Goals:
• To provide social contact for the membership.
• To provide information regarding benefits and obligations affecting today's senior adults.
• To encourage service related activities.
• To foster growth possibilities — spiritual, cultural and recreational — for the membership.
