You are being assigned a mission. The code name for this mission is F.R.O.G.S.
That's right, F.R.O.G.S. In case you are captured during this mission, you are
to release the secret meaning behind the code, which is Families Relying on
God's Service. Now, here's your mission. You are to construct some sort of
FROG to the best of your ability. Here are some suggestions:
| Drawing | Jewelry: earrings, necklaces, etc. |
| Painting | Decorated T-shirts/clothing |
| Sculpture | Totem Poles |
| Papier Mache' | Masks |
| Puppets | Posters |
| Hats | Floats |
| Flags | Christmas Ornaments |
| Decorate sports equipment to look like a frog | |
USE YOUR "FROGGIEST" IMAGINATION
|
Once completed, these FROGS should be brought to your superior officer (that's your teacher) as a requirement for religion class. Next, the FROGS will be judged in a contest between your fellow tadpoles. The top three FROGS will go onto a multi-level contest and the winners in those divisions will be announced at St. Clement of Rome's Lenten Mission; the Mission of all Missions. Prizes will be awarded to the winners and to the entire class that produces a division winner.
The contest begins on Tuesday, February 15 and all frogs must be brought into F.R.O.G.S. Headquarters (that's code for school) no later than Wednesday, March 2.
REMEMBER: The St. Clement of Rome Lenten Mission is March 15, 16, and 17. You won't want to miss
this "leap" of faith. It promises to be "ribetting."
HINT: Since the code F.R.O.G.S. stands for Families Relying On God's Service, get your whole family in on the project. With everyone "jumping" in, we could see you and your FROG up on the altar at the Lenten Mission.
Now, get off your lily pad and HOP TO IT!
